OK, we know Norwich isn’t exactly the easiest place to get to, but you know what? It’ll be worth it. You’ll be able to climb alongside some of the UK’s top climbers on the DMM Comp Wall – one of the biggest permanent comp walls in the world!!!
Norwich International Airport is a 15 minute walk from Highball – handy!
London Stanstead is the next closest – 75 minute drive.
Regular trains run from London, Cambridge and Peterborough. If you’re coming from ‘OOp North’ heading to Cambridge will possibly be best. There’s also a direct train from Liverpool – strange but true.
From the South – M11/A11 from London.
From Cambridge/Midlands A14
Northwest/Wales – M6/A14
From the North – A1>Newark, A17 to Kings Lynn, A47 to Norwich
WHERE TO STAY
Campervans are welcome to stay on site, we have a huge car park and Highball will be open from early morning until late every day. We have showers and a great cafe too. Alternatively, we’re going to look for some local campsites and B&B’s and list them below soon.
If you’re coming to Norwich from afar and making a weekend of it, you need to know we’re ‘really close to the coast’ (say that 5 times!). The North Norfolk Coast has loads of great beaches, walks and pubs with great food! If you want any recommendations, drop us a line. Whether you come alone, with friends, your partner or your family, you will be all very welcome!
