Summer Holidays! Yes we said it in the title, but indeed they are coming, and those mini-climbers are gonna be let out of the schools and onto our walls! As per, from the 25th Of July Onward, we have tons of extra HIGHBALLPLAYs, CLUBSESSIONs and MEGASESHs!
So come get the little ones active and have a great summer over here at Highball.
So this July we have a ton of brilliant offers in the works for you all! With such excellent deals like 20% OFF ALL WOMENS CLOTHING, 20% OFF ALL MENS TOPS and 30% OFF ALL KIDS CLOTHING, we think you’ll all be absolute spoiled for choice in this huge summer sale.
With so many offers on in the shop, we thought that rather than just write up all the offers, we’d show you the pretty posters we made to hang up around the shop:
Been enjoying yourself at Highball lately? Think its great here? Fancy doing us a cheeky favour and writing a short review on TripAdvisor?
We’d love to hear your opinions on our centre, so if you’ve got a sec it’d be awfully excellent of you to give us a little shout out! Click the following link:
What a crackin’ round 3 we just had. I mean, I could really jam to the music, you know??? Okay, the puns stop here! Round 3 of the #SBL18 just passed us by, and the excellent setting from Ben West featured our shiny new Wide Boyz crack volumes! An instant classic, overhanging hand-jams the whole way up the DMM Comp Wall.
All those pictures and scores you’re looking for are coming next week as our website boy is in France climbing! Keep your eyes on our social media or the blog on our website to see when the release is.
For more information on our Summer Bouldering League, head here.
We look forward to our next round of the SBL18! It’s gonna feature our loveliest setter, Jason Pickles, so get pumped and psyched for the problems that are in store. For now, get jamming on our comp wall.

The first Monday of every month hosts our Ladies Night. It is a chance for women from all walks of life to come and get involved in bouldering and climbing, and ideal for meeting like minded people.
As a female, you will have the opportunity to get highly discounted introductory sessions, which are great for beginners and those who want to supervise any friends, family, and children. We also have free coaching sessions where you’ll receive professional advice on technique, or just some encouragement to advance that bit further (or even up to the next grade).
July 2nd (WHICH IS TOMORROW NIGHT, SO GET BOOKING FOR IT!) we have Ladies Bouldering Inductions, Ladies Auto-Belay Inductions (must be a competent Boulderer), and Ladies Coaching sessions. Spaces are limited so book online before they fill up! Head here for more.

Hey! You’ve probably seen my (now blonde) hair bobbing about the place on a comp night, or really any night lately (seriously, I swear I’m here more or less every day of the week!), screaming my way to the mats from about two thirds of the way up the wall! I’m a loud, jocular, expressive person who really sticks to company I enjoy, which is really why I’ve enjoyed working at Highball, not only are the fellow staff brilliant in their each individual ways, but climbing with all of you has lead me to meet some truly brilliant people.
I’ve just graduated from the UEA and am starting to look for jobs more closely related to my field of study, which means that at some point in the near future i’ll sadly be leaving. As a person who has held many, many different jobs in different places, this will be the hardest to leave yet, and not just because I’m now hooked on the coffee, but because the Highball family are just that: family.
