CLIMBING BIRTHDAY PARTIES - NORWICH
Climbing Birthday Parties – Are you looking for something exciting and different for your child’s birthday this year?
Do they just love to climb on anything?
If so, a climbing birthday party is a fantastic way to celebrate with each party including lots of fun, games and climbing with our qualified instructors. After the party you have a 30 minute cafe reservation in which you can provide your own food or we take away the stress of catering by providing a food package.
Climbing Birthday parties are a great way to introduce a group of youngsters to the sport of climbing.
Each of our parties will be led by one or two of our climbing instructors, within a fun, safe dedicated area of our centre.
A party lasts 60 minutes and includes warm up games, loads of climbing and all the equipment hire. We recommend the participants turning up 15 minutes beforehand to allow time to get kitted out with the appropriate equipment.
Catering options are available, with all party food made onsite by our in-house team, however, you may still bring your own food if you don’t choose one of our tasty options. Part of the Beta Cafe area will be reserved for your private use for 30 mins after the party has finished.
Birthday parties can be booked to start at either 2:45pm or 4pm on Saturdays or Sundays, or at 5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The party organiser is responsible for the safety of the group before and after the supervised session. PDF: Invite (Download) Save yourself some time and use our ready to use party invite. The party organiser must ensure parents of all children attending the party are aware of the dangers of climbing (as outlined by the British Mountaineering Council) and sign a consent form to say they accept these risks and are happy for their child to take part.
The party host should arrive 30 minutes before the party starts to help organise the participants with a member of staff. All participants will need to have completed a form for our supervised activities and if you can provide us with a list of participants on arrival this will speed things along.
If you are a participant of the party it is advised that you arrive at least 15mins before the party begins so we can check forms and allocate appropriate equipment. Sessions can only start once we have all form completed alongside allocating the appropriate equipment.
Included in all the packages is a table reserved in the cafe for 30mins to use after the climbing session. You are welcome to bring your own food, or if you prefer we can do the catering for you:
Price: £30 per 6 children, which includes:
6 X Pitta Bread Pizzas
1 large tray of sweet potato fries
1 litre of orange juice
1 litre of apple juice
Most parties bring their own birthday cake, but we can also provide desserts including cakes and ice creams – POA
If there are any dietary requirements, please inform us when booking.
Wear clothing that is easy to move around in. Highball is not a heated venue, so in cold weather party members should wear layers that can be easily removed once warmed up. Spectators will need to wrap up warm if its cold. Long hair needs to be tied back and jewellery removed beforehand.
